Terms of Service

 
Payment Method: The credit card used used in this transaction will be the default method of payment for laundry and dry cleaning surcharges.

Weekly Service: Bag contents are washed, dried, folded, packaged, & returned. Medium/dark colors are washed in cold and whites in warm; all clothes are dried on medium heat. While 5C Laundry makes every effort to sort misplaced garments, we are not responsible for damages to non-washable clothing received in bags. While 5C Laundry makes every attempt to detect and remove foreign objects from pockets or compartments, 5C Laundry does not guarantee its success in doing so. Furthermore, 5C Laundry is not responsible for damage to clothing or to a foreign object resulting from our service. Objects found are returned no matter what the value. 

Dry Cleaning: Each piece is dry cleaned or laundered according to garment care labels and accepted industry practice. Items to be dry cleaned must be placed in a navy blue 5C Landry bag.

Charges: Weekly service is offered for purchase in semester plans. Plan options include 5 or 10lb weekly provisions with excess charged @ $1.75/lb as well as 20lb weekly provision with excess charged at $1.75/lb. Dry cleaned items are charged after the drop off or pickup, by the piece (prices available online at 5claundry.com or at Rocky’s Cleaners). Any order turned in containing potentially hazardous materials will result in a $25 charge, per instance / soiled garment containing hazardous material.

Payments/Accounts: The form of payment provided during the registration process will be used to pay for extra laundry and/or dry cleaning. 30-day overdue accounts may result in the withholding of service. 5C Laundry notifies credit bureaus for accounts in extreme delinquency.

Service Change, Notifications & Account Information: Due to the fluid logistics of collegiate campuses (events, holidays, finals) 5C Laundry may need to adjust service hours, locations, or article pricing. Notification to students and/or parents occurs via email. Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of account information on file, including but not limited to student’s current mobile, permanent home phone, student’s email, parent’s email, and permanent home address. 5C Laundry is not responsible for missed notifications or service announcements from invalid contact information.

Pickup & Delivery: 5C Laundry is not responsible for clothing (orders) before pickup or after delivery and does wash and/or dry clean any clothing. All cleaning services are provided by Rocky’s Dry Cleaners and Laundry in the Claremont Village.

Reporting: All claims (including missing/damaged items) must be reported within 24 hrs of delivery. Due to variations in fabrics and dyes 5C Laundry cannot guarantee against color loss, bleeding, and shrinkage when following manufacturer’s care instructions. We take additional steps to remove stains that are identified prior to processing, but 5C Laundry cannot guarantee removal of existing stains. We try to remove and return items from pockets, but 5C Laundry is not responsible for items left in clothing or any resulting damage. Refund or credit limits when 5C Laundry is responsible for loss or damage are $150 any one bundled item.

Refund/Cancellation Policy: We are committed to your complete satisfaction. If you are not satisfied you may cancel for a prorated credit or refund. Prorating begins upon the date of receipt of notification via email at info@5claundry.com. We reserve the right to deny and/or terminate service to any customer without a refund.
